This fine memorial was designed by Chichester Cathedral architect, Donald Buttress, Surveyor Emeritus to Westminster Abbey.  The design features a back panel of polished Ancaster stone with a lettering tablet in Black Welsh slate.  The air force crest is in bronze, modeled by Tim Crawley.
