Private Residence, London

This project is part of a private house build on the grand  scale.  The client is developing a site which has a Grade I listed Tudor hall as the centerpiece, so the design of the new work is in a complementary period style.

In the major public rooms the fireplaces mix Ancaster buff stone with white Carrara marbles and Welsh slate, enhanced with carved and gilded decoration.

In the private apartments the fireplaces are executed in honey coloured Caen limestone from Normandy, with finely carved relief panels typical of the Renaissance period.
